Musical Mornings is a series of five salon-style concerts hosted by Sarah Hagen. The morning begins with coffee, tea and treats followed by a seventy-five minute classical concert led by Sarah and featuring world-class artists. This is the fourth annual Musical Mornings series at the Evergreen, which is sure to delight and enthrall audiences.
This concert features fabulous violist Marcus Takizawa.

About Marcus:
Marcus Takizawa is the assistant principal viola with the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, a core member of the Turning Point Ensemble and performs in the Onyx Trio with Joy Yeh, harp, and Mark Takeshi McGregor, flute.
He is known for his exceptional skill, artistry and unique versatility. He can be seen playing classical music engagements, contemporary music, and performing his own compositions using electronics and live instruments.
As a viola and violin teacher, Marcus Takizawa specializes in music lessons for adults and advanced students. His teaching studio is located above Our Town Cafe in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Vancouver.
