Pro'ject Sound is an innovative performance project featuring stunning photography and live piano music.
For several months Sarah has been working with Saint John photographers to develop a performance piece of locally-produced images accompanied by music of Claude Debussy. While she is in New Brunswick, Sarah will work with students to create illustrations for Jean de Brunhoff's Story of Babar the Elephant set to music of Francis Poulenc.
On February 25th this exciting community collaboration will come to life at the Imperial Theatre! The first half will showcase the work of local photographers choreographed to Sarah's playing. The second half will feature a performance of The Story of Babar the Elephant as the students illustrations are projected like a giant storybook.
