Sarah returns to The Music Room to launch this season’s Chamber Players Series with a performance of J.S. Bach’s formidable Goldberg Variations.
Cherished by many, the Goldberg Variations are emblematic of keyboard virtuosity, rich expression, and hardcore classical interpretation.
Sarah tours across Canada and internationally as both pianist and humorist. Her interpretations have been described as “outstandingly inventive” [University of Waterloo Gazette], played “flawlessly” [ReviewVancouver] and “with great sensitivity and heart” [Vernon Morning Star]. Hagen’s album “Women of Note” was recently awarded as Music PEI’s 2021 Instrumental Album of the Year.
