Sarah will perform J.S. Bach’s formidable Goldberg Variations at St. Paul’s Church in Charlottetown.
Cherished by many, the Goldberg Variations are emblematic of keyboard virtuosity, rich expression, and hardcore classical interpretation. Sarah will offer a short introduction to this marvellous and intense work before playing the full 75 minutes without intermission.
Sarah tours across Canada and internationally as both pianist and humorist. Her interpretations have been described as “outstandingly inventive” [University of Waterloo Gazette], played “flawlessly” [ReviewVancouver] and “with great sensitivity and heart” [Vernon Morning Star]. Sarah’s album “Women of Note” was recently awarded as Music PEI’s 2021 Instrumental Album of the Year.
