Lauded clarinetist Keith MacLeod joins Sarah for a morning of favourite chamber works for clarinet and piano. The pair have been playing together for over 20 years and are delighted to be bringing their musical pairing back to the Comox Valley. On the programme will be Saint-Saëns’ elegant Clarinet Sonata, Debussy’s exhilarating First Rhapsody, and Brahms’ passionate Sonata in F Minor.

Keith MacLeod has performed across North America as guest soloist with Milwaukee Symphony, Seattle Symphony, Vancouver Symphony as well as the Winnipeg, Calgary and National Arts Centre orchestras among many others.

As a Yamaha Artist, Keith MacLeod has conducted master classes across Canada, the USA and as far away as Spain. He is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Victoria, University of BC and Louisiana State University. As well as performing and teaching Keith is also an award winning composer writing chamber music as well as orchestral and film music.Keith recently retired after celebrating his 40th year as Principal Clarinet with the Victoria Symphony.
