What was lost has been found! Join pianist Sarah Hagen as she presents an exploration of the life and music of trailblazing French composer, Cécile Chaminade. 

Now almost completely overlooked, Chaminade was a widely popular musical force at the turn of the 20th century. At the height of her success, there were more than two hundred Chaminade Clubs in Europe and North America, where people gathered to her listen and play her music and to celebrate the achievements of this fascinating woman. 

You can rediscover Chaminade’s musical legacy as Sarah hosts her own version of a Chaminade Club through exquisite piano music and storytelling. The show begins at 10:30 am and will be approximately 75 minutes without intermission.

Known for her unique, heartfelt interpretations and witty commentary, Sarah tours across Canada and internationally. She has recently returned from a month-long tour through northern England.
